Course Aim
To impart to the students with appropriate skills for analysis of current technical Medical Imaging and Radiotherapy concepts and practices in the core use of computing information technologies.
This course aims to equip the learners with knowledge, skills, and attitudes that will empower them to assess determinants of health related to the environment and occupation. The course also aims to enable learners to apply knowledge skills, and competencies in addressing nutrition, malnutrition, stunting, and food security issues in individuals and communities.
Course aim: To equip learners with knowledge of nutrition and malnutrition related aspects of pharmacy.
Course expected learning outcomes
At the end of this course, learners should be able to:
- Analyse nutrition problems in individuals and communities
- Identify food interactions with drugs in the body and its management
- Describe types of nutrition supplementary and perform calculations related with total parenteral nutrition
- Educate patients/clients on nutritional problems with respect, compassion and confidentiality.
